Piezo Rhinoplasty

Piezo Rhinoplasty

With the advancement of technology, new innovations continue to shape the field of medicine. One of these innovations is Piezo rhinoplasty. The Piezo device is a bone-shaping tool with extremely fine tips that works using sound waves (ultrasound).

In previous years, conventional rhinoplasty required reshaping the nasal bones using rough cutting instruments and chisels. With these tools, the bones were broken and surgeons attempted to create a desirable shape. However, controlling these tools was difficult, which often led to unwanted and uncontrolled fractures. Moreover, these instruments were too coarse to perform delicate and precise procedures.

Thanks to Piezo rhinoplasty, we no longer use rough traditional tools. In Piezo rhinoplasty, the nose is shaped with very small, ultrasound-powered files and cutters.

Advantages:

service Allows for finer, gentler, and more precise shaping.

service Creates smoother bone surfaces with fewer irregularities.

service Bones can be cut exactly where and as much as we want.

service Less pain, bruising, and swelling after the procedure.

For all these advantages, I now perform all my rhinoplasty surgeries using the Piezo device.
